Font - < Notes "I'm taking PTO all next week, but I'll actually secretly be here getting EOM work done." When I took my first sick day of the year in October: "Since you work from home, the expectation is that if you're able to crawl to your desk, you should be at work." ...

Font - "I don't think you really need a lunch break since you can just walk to your kitchen, make something, and walk back." "I'm leaving for the night so my wife can yell at me about how all I ever do since switching to work from home is work."

Font - "I understand that the 'younger generation' thinks they need breaks, but I just don't get it. Maybe they're right, and maybe I'll die sooner because of how much I work." "Since you took 3 sick days when you had COVID, you should consider filing for FMLA to protect your EOY assessment and raise."

Font - "I know that you would have to work 20 hours a day every day to complete everything we ask you to do, and I know that's unreasonable, but these things still have to be done." 0

Font - bombdizzle9 15 hr. ago I mean, sales reps have a purpose, I myself have been in sales for over 10 years and I don't consider myself shady and I always try to help the customer save money where possible.

Font - DaneCountyAlmanac 10 hr. ago 1. Isn't that lunch break legally required? And required to be devoid of work activities? 2. Remind your boss that sales don't go well when they can hear you sneezing. Or puking. Or both. 3. I'm pretty sure that forbidding people to take off for covid is illegal, but I'm not entirely sure why.

Font - kerripotter OP. 8 hr. ago 1. I'm overtime exempt salary, so no breaks are required by federal law. 2. Most of these quotes are from the massive amount of pushback I've been giving about how insanely toxic this workplace is. They don't care. 3. It is not :( and it wasn't forbidden, I was just told it was impacting my "brand" and that my career might suffer for it.
